It doesn't matter whether you've got a green, blue, or black thumb, the Emerging Professionals welcomes anyone and everyone with an interest in gardening. Our goal is to foster a sense of green-community building through learning-while-doing, and to give Washingtonians a broader idea of how to incorporate different types of gardening into any home or apartment.

Throughout the summer the Emerging Professionals will be hosting monthly community gardening events at Park View Recreation center in Columbia Heights, as well as a number of other lectures, courses, and demonstrations in a variety of different gardening techniques.

Please join us for our kick-off event June 26th at Park View Recreation Center, where we will be helping tend to a community garden and then afterwards all enjoy a big NCR-family brunch!
