Humanities EcoTour: Green Buildings (Update)

The purpose of the EcoTour is to promote environmental successes of existing sustainable buildings and raise awareness of the practices within the community. The tour will highlight sustainable buildings and methods in Washington DC consist of guided tours of 2 to 3 LEED rated buildings as well as highlight sustainable initiatives along the tour. We will bike approximately 5 to 8 miles. During the guided tours, the bikes will be watched by a volunteer. Please bring or rent your own bike and lunch.
Itnerary:
8:45AM - Meet at 3825 Wisconsin Avenue, N.W. Sidwell Friends School – Tenleytown Metro Station is near by. We will have the first guided tour of the (LEED Platinum)
-1145 17th street, NW National Geographic Building
-1050 K St, NW (LEED Gold)
-1155 F St, NW (LEED Gold)
End at 1425 K St, NW ( 1PM - lunch and networking on green roof)
