Come out and join us help package holiday meals for low-income families while spreading holiday cheer! We are partnering with Bread for the City for the annual Holiday Helpings campaign. The purpose is to provide low-income DC residents with a turkey and all the trimmings so that they may enjoy a celebratory holiday meal at home with their families. This year Bread for the City plans to provide 9,000 low-income DC families with a healthful holiday meal. Emerging Professional volunteers will help out with packing holiday meals at Bread for the City’s Northwest Center, located at 1525 7th Street NW.
